Recently, Stanford University has liberalized some of his courses; Programming, Artificial Intelligence and Linear Systems are the main branches. This effort joins the M.I.T’ open course-ware initiative for “opens up knowledge across the world”.

Research on robotics, has been employed to obtain a robot that can do gestures. Since many of this research fields evolve, collisions become imminent. Robotics and AI will collide with Telecomms, psychology, economy and other fields, in such a way that new careers will be needed to study such interactions.

The leaders of important economies of the world, will meet to set the “first steps” of a new liberalism. The meeting has not started yet, and some countries has begun pushing onto others on what it seems to be, “the new liberalism” will be born biased, or perhaps will be burned.
US president has been clear on the purpose of the meeting; it will be in the sense of “new liberalism”, retaining this sense and feel. It is not a commitment to adopt Communism or Intervencionism or to satisfy socialistic opportunistic people that claims the capitalism has fallen down.

Liberalism is good, a great example of this goodness is the generous aid from the Europe’s richest countries to the emerging ones, like Portugal, Greece or Spain. Beyond this fact, it is curious to note how some economies continue adhering to strict regulations and “caciques”, and keeps apart from the economic liberation and self-regulation.

Spain as noted by internatinal press, has claimed “his place” on this meeting. Recently, the economist has published an interesting big-picture of this economy and important questions arise immediately; Is Spain a pro-Liberalism country? if you can answer clearly yes, will be ok. But, the fact is that the direction of the last government is unclear. Moreover, what i see is a big hunger for free-money for his caciques to do “socialist” politics (state money for all) with the good Spanish people. (As is happening with the European money).

The clear intention of pushing the format of the meeting, shows the intention of to burn the basis of the early steps of a new liberalism. It is not a matter of “invitation”, is that “he say” that “he is important”.

A very-red socialist, pushing to meet with the very capitalism. It is a non-sense.

If this kind of socialism will be in the meeting, then why not, extend the invitation to the father of all this shit. Mr. F Castro.

Castro or his students will end reforming the global financial system.

No se trata de la canción de los Héroes del Silencio, el titulo es para blogear a la compañia aérea con el mismo nombre. Porque titulares como el que publica El País habrían de ser habituales para obligar a que dicha compañia sea mejor. Personalmente, he volado pocas veces en aviones de Iberia pero con el siguiente registro:

• Vuelo local español: Barcelona - Granada retrasado 8 horas con derecho a un bocadillo “estilo español” en el cafe-bar del aeropuerto del Prat.
• Vuelo internacional: México - Madrid (España) con extravío de equipaje, regresado a mi domicilio en España al siguiente día del aterrizaje.

Sin duda Iberia es una compañia mala, lo mejor es no volar con ellos. Uno termina ahorrandose malos momentos y ganando un viaje mas relajado y seguro. He volado tambien con British, Lufthansa, Air France, Aeromexico y KLM, ninguna tiene tantos defectos como Iberia. Ninguna ha perdido mi equipaje, el retraso mas largo ha sido por 2 horas en el vuelo México - Fráncfort (Alemania) con Lufthansa.

Con Air France y en el aeropuerto de París (Charles de Gaulle), además del buen trato en el avión y en el aeropuerto de París -se dirijan a ti en inglés o francés siempre notas un aire de respeto y amabilidad- la flota aérea tiene asientos con televisión individual, videojuegos incluidos. British Airways y Londres también son excelente opción para entrar/salir a/de Europa, los ingleses hacen gala de su excelente uso del idioma, siempre respetuosos pero amables. Al mismo nivel (sino que mejor) ubico a Lufthansa y el aeropuerto de Fráncfort, siempre he recibido excelente trato incluso cuando llegue demorado (de otro vuelo) y sin boleto al mostrador, la empleada a cargo del mostrador solucionó todo, al final me entregó el pase de abordar y nos trasladaron en un autobús al avión. KLM también es muy buena compañía, el aeropuerto de Amsterdam más pequeño que el de Fráncfort te hace sentir un aire mas relajado, los empleados son respetuosos y ayudan bien.

Iberia por el contrario (y no dudo que existan algunos buenos empleados), desde llegar al mostrador te hacen sentir mal, como si “de favor” te llevarán en el vuelo, como si estuvieras pidiendo algun tipo de súplica para abordar. Si algo falta, ponen cara de “que molestia”. En el avión el mal trato continúa, las azafatas rara vez usan un “por favor”, por el contrario contribuyen a que te sientas estresado. Su manejo del buen español se limita a decir “vale”. En el aeropuerto de Barajas (España), te encuetras de todo; desde el/la empleado(a) que te ayuda hasta el que te manda “mucho” mas lejos.

En España, Iberia NO te regala nada, te lo vende y en Euros. Es curioso porque, aún en naciones con poco desarrollo se hacen esfuerzos por atender mejor al pasajero (volar es caro) las compaías suelen regalar algún tipo de comida, botana o bebida, Iberia NO.

Las opciones para viajar de América a España son muchas; desde volar a otras capitales europeas de la zona Schengen, por ejemplo Berlín, Fráncfort, París o Amsterdam que suelen ser destinos baratos pues son grandes ciudades con mucho trafico aéreo y de algún modo tiene la posibilidad de disminuir tarifas (sea por turismo, carga industrial, etc.), otra opción es volar a Canada y de ahí directo a España. Volar con escala en los Estados Unidos NO es una opción, porque el trato que recibiras será incluso peor que el de Iberia. Para empezar, el registro casi-anal que realizarán sobre cualquier latino-americano es además de excesivo, humillante. Después revisarán tu equipaje (ropa interior incluida) frente a medio centenar de pasajeros en el aeropuerto. En resumen, serás tratado como un delicuente al estilo de la película Minority Report, solo por la posibilidad de que algo suceda, aún cuando todavía no sucede.

Si aún decides volar con Iberia, preparate para la guerra. Armate de paciencia, recuerda el tono español “vale” sirve para todo, guarda bien tus comprobantes de pago y pases de abordar. Y recuerda que para una azafata borde, un borde y medio.

Recent experiments on the miniaturization of memory systems can bring computational power to do things now inconceivable. Just imagine tera-bytes of available memory to store your daily activities and the activities of complete cities or countries, quantum will be a breakthrough technology. Such devices can  break the generational knowledge transmission problem, probably -with such quantum machines- every citizen will be educated very different. Imagine that every knowledge of the world can be stored on a quantum machine (or a network).
Such machines will transform the world far beyond of what the digital computer caused in the last decades. From now on, the “cake is in the stove”, but when will be ready and decorated…

An initiative with NSF-USA budget, to count stars is in his course. All of we can contribute from our homes and with our relatives to make observations. The World Wide Star Counts can provide to the scientist, evidence of sky pollution and a good test of how the people sees and percive the sky in each nation.
Many efforts are being made, to monitor the outer-space from meteorites and to obtain a real map of our planet. By the way, the Hubble telescope is now in troubles and the NASA has announced a revival mission will be ready soon.
